Tallinn GP 2017 as a main rehearsal for enduro world championship round in 2018 Tallinn GP 2017 held on 27-28th of May in Tallinn is a main rehearsal for 2018 when Estonia hosts for the first time the round of enduro world championship. This year the representatives of FIM and promotor of the championship will be present to give their evaluation to the competition. Popularity of enduro has risen in last years in Estonia and the success of Aigar Leok in world championship has big part of it. The negotiations to held world championship round in Estonia started last year and final confirmation came from the promoter during the GP Finland held earlier this year. The organiser both competitions is motoclub Redmoto, which is one of the most successful clubs in Estonia. Veiko Biene, Tallinn GP 2017 race director: „We had the idea to held world championship round in Estonia already few years ago. First contact with the promoter was last year and it was very positive. This gave us certainty to move on. Redmoto club is ready to organise those international competitions and we welcome all the foreign competitors to participate already this year in Tallinn GP 2017.“ Helen Urbanik, General Secretary of Estonian Motorsport Federation: „Enduro is very attractive discipline and it is great that we can introduce it in the capital of Estonia to the wider audience. Those international competitions will bring the stars of enduro to Estonia and it will be for sure show to watch.“ The total length of Tallinn GP 2017 is 500 kilometres and in two days the competitors will compete on 6x3 tests in Tallinn and its nearby.
